Position Overview

The Project Supervisor Intern will assist in planning, executing, monitoring, and documenting various projects under ChickCoop®’s farming and technology initiatives. This role involves coordinating between technical, operational, and field teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of project goals. The intern will gain hands-on experience in project management, field supervision, data analysis, and sustainable agri-tech implementation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Coordination

  • Support in the planning and execution of ChickCoop® projects (e.g., FarmSence.ai deployments, poultry farm setups, training workshops).
  • Coordinate with design, development, and operations teams to ensure milestones are met.
  • Track project progress and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Document workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality benchmarks.

2. Field & Operations Supervision

  • Visit poultry farm locations (if required) to monitor project activities and ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Assist in conducting performance assessments for field operations, feed delivery, and bird health monitoring.
  • Liaise with farmers and local teams to gather insights, feedback, and operational challenges.
  • 3. Data & Reporting

  • Collect and analyze project data using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or project management dashboards.
  • Prepare weekly performance reports, highlighting risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Help design data collection frameworks for the FarmSence.ai product.
  • 4. Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as a communication bridge between field teams, developers, and management.
  • Support in preparing project briefs, status updates, and presentation decks for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in weekly review meetings and contribute ideas for operational improvement.
  • 5. Research & Innovation

  • Conduct market and competitor research in the poultry and agri-tech space.
  • Suggest improvements in project execution, farm automation, or product usability.
  • Support in testing and documenting new features of ChickCoop® products (like FarmSence.ai).
  • Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in :
  • Agriculture / Animal Science / Veterinary Science
  • Engineering / Computer Science / Data Analytics
  • Business Administration / Project Management / Operations
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of poultry farming, agri-tech, or project coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred Skills (Bonus)

  • Familiarity with farm management software or IoT-based agriculture systems.
  • Experience with project management tools (Excel, Word and Power BI)
  • Interest in sustainable farming and rural development.
  • Basic knowledge of AI tools or data visualization platforms.
