Job Title : Academic Counsellor – upGrad Learning Centres

Location : Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu

Working Days : Monday to Saturday (6 days)

Role Overview :

The Academic Counsellor guides learners, understands their career goals, recommends suitable programs, and supports them throughout the admission process. This is a counselling-centric, revenue-driving role based in a physical learning centre.

Note : You will be located / seated at Bharathidasan University for student counselling and admission coordination. You will handle student walk-ins and guide them with counselling for upGrad learning programs.

Key Responsibilities :

Counsel potential learners via calls, centre walk-ins, and video sessions.
Understand learner needs and recommend relevant upGrad programs.
Convert leads to admissions and achieve monthly enrolment targets.
Manage the complete sales cycle — enquiry, counselling, enrolment, and post-sales support.
Maintain accurate CRM records and track daily / weekly performance metrics.
Coordinate with centre and university teams to ensure a seamless learner experience.

Requirements :

Graduate with 1–2 years of B2C or consultative sales experience (EdTech preferred).

Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work towards targets and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
