Data Scientist (Gen AI)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Data Scientist

with a strong background in

Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)

• . The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data science and machine learning, including at least 2 years working specifically with Generative AI or LLMs. This role is critical to driving innovation, automation, and intelligent decision-making across BFSI applications.

Key Responsibilities

AI / ML Development & Deployment

Identify AI use cases and develop tools for successful prototype delivery.

Design and deploy AI-powered solutions to improve operational efficiency, customer engagement, and data-driven decision-making.

Build and integrate AI models with BFSI systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and scalable cloud-based infrastructure.

LLMOps Execution

Manage end-to-end LLMOps activities including :

Data preparation

Model training

Model deployment

Model monitoring

Project Transition & Integration

Lead the smooth transition of the

voice and vernacular transactions project

from the incumbent IT service provider.

Implement

WhatsApp integration

to support customer-initiated and distributor-initiated transactions.

Customer Collaboration

Work closely with clients to identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements and automation across business functions.

GenAI Support – L2 / L3 Responsibilities

Provide L2 / L3 support for GenAI applications :

Troubleshoot application breakdowns and data pipeline issues

Address LLM response deviations and update / customize prompts

Support backend code updates for dependent frameworks

Ensure stability and performance of deployment pipelines

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning

2+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI or LLMs

Strong understanding of BFSI domain and regulatory standards

Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI / ML frameworks

Experience with LLMOps tools and practices

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
