Review creative briefs and asset files; validate content for completeness and accuracy; flag gaps and clarify requirements with stakeholders.
Translate requirements into modular, reusable email components (dynamic blocks, conditional sections, repeatable lists) and maintain a scalable component library.
Build robust HTML / CSS, table-based, responsive / hybrid email templates optimized for cross-client rendering, including dark mode considerations.
Implement data-driven personalization using variables, tokens, conditionals, and loop-like patterns; ensure safe defaults and graceful fallbacks for missing data.
Define and configure business rules for event / behavior-triggered emails and lifecycle journeys; document logic and guardrails.
Prepare packages and upload content per platform requirements (assets, metadata, link tracking, naming conventions); manage versioning and releases.
Establish and enforce coding standards, documentation, and QA checklists; conduct peer reviews, unit / integration checks, and support UAT.
Troubleshoot rendering issues (e.g., Outlook quirks, image blocking, background images, clipping); implement bulletproof patterns for buttons and backgrounds.
Ensure accessibility (semantic structure, logical reading order, alt text, color contrast) and deliverability-aware coding (clean markup, image-to-text balance, compliant footer content).
Stay current with platform and industry standards; complete required trainings and adhere to governance and compliance processes.
