DevOps Engineer

Role Description
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving customer issues in production , ensuring the stability and performance of our systems, and maintaining infrastructure at scale. You will implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) , design and maintain CI / CD pipelines , and handle system administration tasks. Additionally, you will work closely with developers to ensure smooth deployments, efficient incident resolution, and continuous improvement of our production environment.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong troubleshooting skills, proactive ownership, and the ability to balance firefighting production issues with building long-term infrastructure solutions .
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues impacting customers.
- Implement, maintain, and improve CI / CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Design and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of production systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to enable seamless feature delivery.
- Automate manual processes to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead.
- Perform system administration tasks, particularly in Linux-based environments .
- Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.
Qualifications
2+ years' experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, Pulumi, etc.)Background in Software Development (Python, Java, Go, or similar)Proficiency with Continuous Integration (CI / CD) tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS Code Pipeline,Strong Linux system administration skillsExperience with cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, or GCP )Familiarity with containerization and orchestration ( Docker, Kubernetes )Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a remote teamBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldNice to Have
Experience in monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)Familiarity with incident management and on-call practicesKnowledge of networking, security, and compliance best practicesPrior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
