Freelance Procurement & Category Manager

Assignment Details :

Our Client is leading consulting firm and are looking to engage with a Procurement & Category Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assess marine crane market in India (segment by crane type, new v / s replacement demand, etc.)
• Estimate domestic and export market potential for marine cranes
• Assess key purchase criteria for marine cranes by different customer segments (such as port authorities, terminal operators, Equipment leasing companies, etc.)
• Evaluate different customer requirements / needs for marine cranes
• Analyze contract structures, pricing mechanisms followed, etc. between marine crane manufacturers and customers
• Conduct competition landscape assessment in India and global market for various marine crane manufacturers (including but not limited to- competition profiling, landed cost assessment and price benchmarking, etc.)
• Assess industry trends and regulatory developments affecting crane procurement in India
