Kernel Developer - Hardware Optimization

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced developers for our kernel development team focused on building and optimizing AI / ML operators using our specialised Instruction Set Architecture (ISA). In this role, you will be responsible for design, development, and performance tuning of core kernel components that directly influence the efficiency and reliability of AI / ML workloads on our custom hardware.

You will work closely with compiler teams, hardware architects, and application developers to deliver an operator that maximizes performance while meeting stringent accuracy and latency requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Kernel Design & Development :

• Design and development of core kernel modules, optimized for both performance and energy efficiency under AI / ML workloads.
• Design and development of advanced performance profiling / optimization and debugging tools to ensure low latency.
• Analyse kernel performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations at the software and feedback to the hardware for next generation improvements.
• Ensure to follow and propose industry best practices for code quality, performance testing, and validation of kernels.
• Collaborate with hardware architects, compiler teams to align the kernel design with the underlying ISA capabilities and seamless integration of AIML models.
• Stay current on emerging trends in ISA design, low-level programming, and AI / ML hardware acceleration.

Ensure that documentation of the kernel components is made.
