Job description

At ADVIISORPAD, we are driving inclusive hiring for organizations creating measurable impact on the ground(NGO's). We are partnering with a purpose-driven nonprofit committed to strengthening healthcare access, livelihood pathways, and sustainability initiatives for underserved communities.

We’re looking to onboard a seasoned Director – Finance ( nonprofit financial management) who can anchor financial stewardship, strategic planning, and governance excellence for nonprofit sector.

Role Overview

The role calls for a visionary finance leader who can build strong financial systems, drive compliance, and enable long-term organizational sustainability with past experience in nonprofit financial management .

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Drive financial strategy and annual budgeting.
  • Track performance and present reports to leadership.

Financial Management & Compliance

  • Oversee accounting, reporting, audits, and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Manage relationships with auditors and financial institutions.

    • Risk & Controls

  • Identify financial risks and strengthen internal controls.

    • Grant Management & Donor Reporting

  • Manage grant finances and ensure timely donor reporting.
  • Coordinate with program teams for accurate submissions.

    • Financial Sustainability

  • Develop strategies for long-term financial health and revenue diversification.

    • Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the finance team.
  • Build a culture of accountability and excellence.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting; MBA / CPA / CA preferred.
  • 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong expertise in "nonprofit financial management" , fund accounting, and grant compliance is a must.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High integrity with a commitment to transparency and accountability.
