Job Overview : We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead business development and account management activities for Professional Services, with a strong focus on manpower solutions (IT & non-IT staffing, contractual deployment, project-based resourcing) and solution-based selling (Digital, AI, Cybersecurity, etc.). The role will be based out of Mumbai and will focus on expanding business in key verticals including BFSI, IT / ITES, and Consulting.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
o Identify, target, and close new business opportunities across Mumbai and western India.
o Engage CXOs, Procurement Heads, HR leaders for manpower services and professional resourcing deals.
o Develop long-term relationships with enterprise clients for repeat and up-sell opportunities.
Sales Strategy & Funnel Development
o Drive the sales cycle from lead generation to closure including proposal, pricing, and contract negotiation.
o Build and manage a strong funnel of ₹10–20 Cr+ opportunities.
o Map client accounts for cross-sell (AI, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation) and manpower opportunities.
Manpower Solution Selling
o Understand client needs for contractual staffing, project-based resourcing, and managed services.
o Propose suitable staffing models – fixed-term, deployable bench, or outcome-based.
o Liaise with internal delivery and recruitment teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
Proposal & Commercial Ownership
o Prepare customized proposals, RFQs / RFP responses, and pricing models for large staffing and IT projects.
o Maintain margin control while offering competitive commercial structures.
Market Intelligence
o Monitor competitor moves and industry trends in staffing and services.
o Provide feedback to the leadership for pricing, offering enhancement, and delivery models
Qualifications :
Graduate with MBA / PGDM preferred in Marketing.
8–12 years of experience in sales of professional services / manpower / staffing solutions.
Strong network in BFSI, IT / ITES, and enterprise segments across India.
Demonstrated experience in closing large staffing / outsourcing deals.
Understanding of contractual compliances, labor laws, and onboarding lifecycle.
Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools (Salesforce / Zoho), and proposal drafting.
