We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on implementation and support experience . The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge across key Business Central modules, excellent client-facing skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into efficient ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Implementation and Solution Design
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops, GAP-FIT analysis, and prepare functional design documents.
- Configure Business Central modules to align with client business processes.
- Design and document business workflows, customizations, and integrations.
Client Engagement and Delivery
Serve as the primary functional point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.Conduct user training, UAT coordination, and post-implementation support.Work closely with technical teams for solution customization and extensions.Modules Expertise
Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash / Bank)Sales & PurchaseInventory & WarehousingManufacturing (optional but preferred)Project ManagementService Management (added advantage)Documentation and Process Management
Prepare BRD, FDD, SOW, Test Scripts, and Training Manuals.Ensure adherence to implementation methodologies (Agile / Waterfall).Maintain accurate project records and provide timely status updates.Support and Enhancements
Analyze client issues and provide functional resolutions.Recommend process improvements and system optimizations.Support version upgrades and migration activities.Required Skills :
5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Dynamics NAV / Business Central .Strong understanding of business processes across finance, supply chain, and operations.Hands-on experience with Business Central configuration, workflows, and extensions.Ability to perform GAP-FIT analysis, write functional specs, and coordinate with technical teams.Excellent communication, presentation, and client-interaction skills.Experience with AL extensions understanding (functional-level) is a plus.Certifications in Dynamics 365 BC / NAV are an added advantage.Preferred Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.Experience working in implementation partner environment.Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, or related Microsoft ecosystem tools.Soft Skills :
