Role : Oracle Functional Consultant (PIM, Inventory, Manufacturing)
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Functional Consultant with over 6 years of expertise in Product Information Management (PIM), Inventory, and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in these Oracle modules, responsible for leading and executing complex projects, including system configurations, data conversions, and documentation. You will play a crucial role in shaping solutions, ensuring seamless integrations, and driving process improvements for our clients.
Responsibilities :
- System Configuration and Implementation : Lead the configuration and implementation of Oracle PIM, Inventory, and Manufacturing modules, ensuring they align with business requirements and best practices.
- Data Conversion : Spearhead data conversion activities, including the design, execution, and validation of data migration strategies for key business objects.
This includes :
Item Conversion : Convert item master data, including all associated attributes, categories, and catalogs.Bill of Materials (BOM) Conversion : Develop and execute detailed plans for converting product structures and BOM setups.On-hand Conversion : Manage the conversion of on-hand inventory balances to ensureaccuracy and integrity in the new system.
Asset Conversion : Handle the conversion of fixed assets, including their associated details and values.Requirements and Design : Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Translate these requirements into functional specifications and detailed solution designs.Technical Specifications : Draft clear, concise, and lean specifications for technical development, ensuring that the development team has a solid understanding of the required functionality.Testing and Validation : Develop test scripts, lead user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate that the configured solutions meet all business requirements.Support and Training : Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and train end-users on new processes and system functionality.Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes within the Oracle ecosystem.Qualifications :
Experience : A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant with a deep focus on PIM, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
Technical Skills :
Oracle PIM : Expert knowledge of item master, attributes, categories, catalogs, and data quality management.Oracle Inventory : Strong understanding of inventory management processes, including on-hand balances, item costs, and subinventories.Oracle Manufacturing : Proficiency in Bills of Material (BOM), work orders, routings, and production planning.Project Lifecycle : Proven experience with the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and post-go-live support.Data Conversion : Extensive experience with data conversion strategies and tools, including preparing data, running conversion scripts, and validating results.Documentation : Exceptional ability to draft clear, detailed, and lean functional and technical specifications.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.(ref : hirist.tech)
