Role Overview
The CEO will lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of Symposium. They will oversee content, partnerships, community building, brand positioning, and overall program delivery, elevating Symposium into a category-defining platform.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Set and drive the vision, positioning, and strategic roadmap for Symposium.Identify emerging topics and global trends for annual agendas.2. Content & Program
Curate keynote speakers, moderators, policymakers, global experts, business leaders, and innovators.Design knowledge sessions, masterclasses, and structured discussions.3. Stakeholder & Community Management
Develop strong relationships with CXOs, media, government, academic institutions, and global networks.Lead engagement initiatives to build a strong, active community.4. Partnerships & Sponsorships
Drive sponsorship revenues and partner collaborations.Build long-term value propositions for corporate and institutional partners.5. Operations & Delivery
Oversee event planning, budgeting, timelines, vendor management, and execution.Ensure seamless experiences for speakers, partners, and attendees.6. Brand & Communication
Strengthen Symposium’s brand identity, positioning, and communication strategy.Represent Symposium in media, public forums, and strategic discussions.7. Team Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing team.Establish systems for reporting, performance management, and cross-functional coordination.Required Skills & Competencies
Strong strategic and visionary leadershipExcellent communication, storytelling, and public-speaking skillsAbility to navigate high-level networks across business, media, and governmentTrack record in events, think tanks, policy, knowledge platforms, or mediaStrong execution discipline and attention to detailEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to innovate and scaleQualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (MBA / Public Policy / Communications / etc.)10–18 years of leadership experience in events, media, consulting, governance, or related fieldsProven experience engaging with high-profile stakeholdersA strong Networking backgroundSenior Media professionals or Retired IAS / IPS / IRS or Senior Bureaucrats preferred.
