We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our karting track facility in Ahmedabad. The role involves ensuring smooth operations, maintaining safety standards, managing staff, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations of the karting facility, including track management, scheduling, and customer flow.
- Monitor equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and ensure the facility is running at optimal performance.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for timely support and supplies.
- Staff Management
- train, and supervise staff including track marshals, customer service teams, and maintenance personnel.
- Create duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels during peak and non-peak hours.
- Motivate and monitor staff performance to ensure excellent customer service.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols for customers, staff, and equipment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of tracks, karts, and protective gear.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations, licenses, and health & safety standards.
- Customer Experience
- Ensure customers receive a fun, safe, and memorable experience.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop promotional ideas / events to boost customer engagement and revenue.
- Financial & Reporting
- Manage budgets, expenses, and revenue targets for the branch.
- Prepare weekly / monthly reports on operations, safety incidents, staff performance, and financials.
- Implement cost-control measures while maintaining service quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality, Sports Management, or related field.4+ years of experience in operations, facility, or branch management (experience in entertainment, sports, or hospitality preferred).Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Passion for motorsport, sports, or entertainment industry is a plus
