While we are present in multiple locations, this role will be fully remote.

About Ferma Congress

Ferma Congress is a Zoom Rx product that provides conference intelligence to clients in the life sciences domain. It helps pharmaceutical and biotech companies track and analyze large volumes of conference data, delivering actionable insights that enable smarter, faster decision-making.

What does your day look like as an Associate at Ferma Congress?

Developing automated workflows to collect and manage conference and healthcare-related data using Requests, Beautiful Soup, and other data sources.

Using Excel and Python for data cleaning, wrangling, and analysis

Working with large datasets and contributing to AI / ML-driven solutions

Applying basic knowledge of LLMs / ML algorithms to real-world problems (fine-tuning experience is a plus)

Collaborating with teammates to understand problem statements and contribute to practical solutions

Translating domain experts’ business logic into structured, scalable datasets

Exploring and learning new tools / technologies as needed

Communicating findings and progress effectively with the team (strong communication skills preferred; fluency not mandatory)

What do we look for in you?

Solid understanding of Python (data wrangling, automation, basic analysis)

Comfort with Excel for organizing and analyzing datasets

Basic knowledge of web scraping techniques

Foundational understanding of LLMs / ML algorithms (fine-tuning exposure preferred)

Ability to understand problem statements and apply logical thinking

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, methods, and technologies

A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
