JOB DESCRIPTION- IT- Officer

About the company : This business is responsible for overseeing the production of an extensive range of ice cream products as a third-party manufacturer for one of the top ice cream companies in India, which has a presence throughout the country. Bricks, tubs, cones, cups, and ice cream sandwiches are just a few of the ice cream segments that can be manufactured at our facility. We continuously provide mouthwatering and varied ice cream selections that suit a broad range of interests and circumstances thanks to our dedication to innovation and perfection.

Location : Village : Wargal, District : Siddipet, State : Telangana

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT professional with a strong background in computer hardware, networking, and cloud computing (AWS) to manage and maintain IT infrastructure at our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of all IT systems, provide end-user support, and implement security and data protection measures. The role demands expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, networking and cloud and ERP environments.

Key Responsibilities :

IT Infrastructure Management :

  • Manage and maintain over 500 devices including laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and workstations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee IT systems in factory and office premises including biometric machines, face-recognition systems, and CCTV cameras.
  • Administer and manage Windows Server 2022, ensuring smooth operations and security compliance.
  • Configure and maintain FTP servers for secure internal data transfers.
  • Manage Active Directory for user account creation, password resets, and access control.
  • Handle hardware support tickets with OEMs (HP, Lenovo, etc.) and ensure timely resolution.
  • Add and configure new servers to the network; perform remote server access via tools such as Putty.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues.
  • Conduct regular server maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure high system uptime.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard organizational data.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance, repairs, and procurement.

Software and Hardware Support :

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software-related issues across all devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and enterprise applications.
  • Manage network equipment including routers, switches and firewalls; perform troubleshooting as required.
  • Support video conferencing platforms like Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom to ensure seamless virtual communication.
  • Network & Security Management : Enforce network security policies and best practices to protect data and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Manage LAN / WAN networks, cabling systems, and wireless connectivity within the plant.
  • Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus, and other web security tools to block malicious content and control site access.
  • Manage USB device control and internet access permissions within the LAN.
  • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for systems and peripheral devices.
  • Cloud Computing & ERP Support :

  • Manage AWS environments—creating instances, snapshots, backups, and configuring Elastic IPs and S3 permissions.
  • Provide ERP support to users, primarily for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2, including troubleshooting and managing remote access (RDP / OpenVPN).
  • Support SAP installations and related technical configurations.
  • Data, Email and System Management :

  • Create and manage corporate email IDs; configure email clients across user systems and mobile devices.
  • Conduct regular data backups for systems and email accounts.
  • Troubleshoot network switches, routers, and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Oversee CCTV maintenance, DVR / NVR configuration, and network access setup.
  • Perform OS installations including Windows 7, 8.1, 10, Server 8, and Server 2012 R2.
  • Qualifications :

  • Education : B.Tech in Computer Science / MCA in IT or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Experience : Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience managing IT infrastructure in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
  • Certifications (Preferred) : Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
  • Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking protocols (TCP / IP, HTTP).
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud management and security practices.
  • Hands-on experience in LAN cabling, hardware configuration, and network troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with factory automation systems, CCTV, and biometric systems is an added advantage.
  • Candidates from Telangana would be preferred.
