As the Senior Video Editor, you will be editing editorial long- and short-form premium digital video content. The Video output includes :
- Original, social video, and podcast content for global digital platforms (e.G., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
- Syndicated series for local markets.
- Scalable, high-quality video franchises across multiple platforms and markets.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates a strong ability to manage logistics while collaborating with various stakeholders. You will work closely with the Head of Editorial Content, Digital Directors, and Social Media Managers for each brand to meet project deadlines and uphold quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Edit enticing, original, and high-quality video content across multiple platforms. Creating compelling stories.Responsible for the complete workflow, including organisation, ingest, transcoding, backup, archival, QC, and documentation of all footage across a busy post-production team.Create bespoke assets that show knowledge of and consideration for social media audiences - including, but not limited to, YouTube, Tik Tok, and Instagram.Manage multiple edits and projects at the same time.Contribute innovative, creative concepts across a broad range of video content.Help to develop and ensure the style, tone, and quality of Conde Nast video content.Research, archive, and present imagery, music and video content as support material to projects.Support content / shoot producers with necessary advice for shoots, including camera and rushes specsWork flexibly and reactively to a high-volume video workflow.Help to create, update, and develop all graphic assets for video content.Ensure all deadlines are met throughout the post-production process and deliver final assets on time.Keep up to date with the latest developments in video across platforms and devices - with a passion for visual storytelling and current trends in video and fashion films.Keep abreast of editing software and hardware developments, and ensure the department is up to date.Share knowledge and be a champion for innovative video within a business, working with multiple different media.Participate in ad hoc projects / activities as required by the businessRespond to escalated post-related issues of day-to-day operational responsibilities, as neededEnsure compliance with all relevant CN regulations and policies..Ensure quality assurance and accuracy across the board.Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Video Editor for Short and Long form Social content, creating narrative video content within the fashion, lifestyle, and cultureExperience working in a multi-market landscape and embracing varied cultural requirements.
