We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of our e-commerce platform in the pharmaceutical industry, meeting service level agreements and maintaining seamless application operations within a distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Keep business-critical applications operational in line with service level agreements
- Proactively lead actions toward resolving issues and ensuring final solutions are implemented
- Conduct Application Support maintenance to meet application availability requirements
- Foster and maintain effective communication and strong relationships with the customer
- Analyze incoming requests and issues to determine optimal solutions and actions
- Collaborate effectively across various technology services to troubleshoot and resolve incidents
- Adapt to evolving priorities and ensure timely responses to changing requirements
Requirements
5-10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years working in an application support or production support environmentBackground in Linux systems with proficiency in Bash scripts and familiarity with Automation using Bash / Shell scriptingKnowledge of writing SQL queries for application maintenance and application troubleshootingCapability to understand and navigate complex and changing technical solutionsStrong analytical skills with the ability to handle issues effectively and prioritize tasksHigh level of self-motivation, drive, and resilience with a commitment to professional excellenceFlexibility to reschedule tasks or adapt to changes in dynamic environmentsCompetency in working collaboratively across teams and technical domainsStrong communication skills in English (B2 level or higher), both written and verbal, with the ability to interact at all organizational levelsSkills Required
