Summary / Objective :

  • This role is responsible for managing operations support team in India and will drive the day-to-day activities for functions including order processing, documentation, invoicing, fleet management and third-party trucking, MIS, Import, regulatory affairs and customer service.
  • This candidate will liaise with US operation team and India support team to bring strong leadership, process management, and cross-border collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Streamline and organize information for US operations managers to ensure clarity and accessibility.
  • Review, revise, and formalize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficiency, compliance, and consistency across all operations support functions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations.
  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations including order fulfilment, shipping schedules, inventory updates, and returns.
  • Collaborate with distribution centres managers to streamline the process and resolve issues effectively.
  • Track and monitor day-to-day performance metrics for distribution centres.
  • Identify performance gaps with the India team and drive timely corrective actions.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness in documentation across all operational support functions.
  • Manage relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and support clearance and teams handling daily operational tasks.
  • Manage P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process including invoice booking and vendor coordination.
  • Handle confidential information with utmost integrity and discretion.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy regulations, and company 10 to 15 years of experience in operations support, Supply Chain, or a related field data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Warehouse Management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of SOPs and process improvement methodologies.
  • Assertive and proactive approach to work.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e. , NAV) is desirable.
