Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Purchasing Executive to join our team in Vadodara. This is a full-time position ideal for candidates with proficiency in pharmaceutical sourcing. The role will require managing procurement activities efficiently while ensuring cost-effectiveness and supplier relationship management. The successful candidate will have relevant experience and skills in supply chain and inventory management to contribute to the company's recruitment efforts in various global markets. The ideal candidate should possess 6 to 8 years of experience in the purchase of raw materials for pharmaceutical industries (API), both domestically and through imports from other countries. Additionally, experience in R&D-related small quantity raw material import from China and other countries is essential.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in pharmaceutical procurement processes and strategies (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in supplier relationship management, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring quality standards.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
• Ability to conduct cost analysis to optimize procurement budgets and reduce overall expenses.
• Experience in supply chain management, ensuring smooth logistics and effective resource allocation.
• Competence in inventory management, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing wastage.
• Familiarity with the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence in Procurement (AIP) for enhanced decision-making.
• Understanding of Research and Development processes and their impact on procurement strategies.
