We are inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant -Senior Data Engineer - ETL Datastage!

As a Data Engineer, the candidate should possess strong expertise in Data analysis, Data Integration , Data transformation and ETL skills required to perform the role. Also he / she should possess the relevant domain experience in Banking (Finance & Risk).

Responsibilities

1.Data Analysis, Data transformation of the back-end of an application

2.Performance of the dataset according to consumption methods

3.Data modeling exposure with strong SQL knowledge

4.Should have hands-on experience in Data Quality , Defects remediation Projects.

5.Strong hands-on ETL IBM Datastage pipelines development, testing and support.

6.Good programming / scripting in UNIX (bash) skills for development

7.Good Knowledge of understanding Data warehouse & Data Integration techniques.

8.Application performance tuning to optimize resource and time utilization.

9.Create data integration and technical solutions for the customer applications.

10.Detail oriented with good problem solving, organizational, analysis, highly motivated and adaptive with the ability to grasp things quickly.

11.Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team and individually with excellent interpersonal, technical and communication skills.

Skillset

1.Agile / Scrum development experience

2. Track record in building larger corporate systems.

3. ETL IBM Datastage

4. Linux (bash) scripting capabilities.

5. Oracle RDBMS 12c or higher.

6. Oracle PLSQL experience in handling procedures and functions.

7. Data Modeling knowledge & awareness

We appreciate candidate to have knowledge of the following :

1. Azure cloud knowledge or experience

2. Python scripting, Data pipeline processing

3. Experience in Banking Financial systems (Risk & Finance)

4. Knowledge / experience in Hadoop, Hive data processing.
