Procurement Executive

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Procurement Executive to handle sourcing and purchasing of raw materials and packaging items required for our food product manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate must ensure quality sourcing at competitive pricing, timely availability of materials, and strong vendor coordination — contributing directly to efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet material and packaging requirements.

Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality and commercial terms.

Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts for cost-effective procurement.

Coordinate with SHGs to understand their raw material needs and assist in logistics challenges.

Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to avoid shortages.

Maintain accurate procurement records — pricing, vendor details, quality documentation, etc.

Stay updated on food safety standards and ensure vendor compliance.

Track supplier performance and work on continuous cost and process optimization.

Collaborate with warehouse / logistics teams to ensure timely inward and proper storage.

Resolve supply discrepancies and quality concerns proactively.

Requirements Minimum Qualification : Any Graduation (Food Technology background preferred)

Minimum 2 years of procurement / purchasing experience (FMCG / Food industry preferred)

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

Good understanding of food safety and regulatory standards

Proficiency in MS Excel & procurement / ERP tools

Strong communication, analytics, and documentation skills

Ability to manage deadlines and operate in a fast-paced environment

Having own bike for market / vendor visits will be an added advantage
