Position : QA Trainee Engineer

Experience : Freshers

Work Mode : Full-time, Onsite Only (No work-from-home)

About the Role

  • We are seeking a motivated QA Engineer (Fresher) to join our Wireless Audio and Embedded Software QA team. The candidate will work on wireless streaming devices, audio quality validation, and embedded firmware testing. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in the audio and wireless domain, with exposure to manual testing and Python scripting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases for wireless streaming and audio playback features. Also, on several projects or features, based on customer requirements and relevant certifications.
  • Validate Wi-Fi / Bluetooth connectivity, pairing, and streaming scenarios.
  • Perform basic audio quality checks (latency, synchronization, codec playback).
  • Analyse UART / serial logs and system logs for defect identification.
  • Assist in bug logging and tracking using tools like JIRA.
  • Support automation through simple Python scripts for log parsing and regression tasks.
  • Work with senior QA engineers / Leads to reproduce and isolate issues.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Good understanding of software testing concepts (test cases, bug lifecycle).
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and device-level testing.
  • Familiarity with wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth basics).
  • Exposure to network tools (Wireshark, iPerf) will be added advantage.
  • Awareness of audio streaming services (Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Python scripting (college projects or self-learning).
  • Familiarity with Linux basics and shell commands.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
