Job description

Role : SEO Manager

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategy Development : Craft, execute, and oversee the overall SEO strategy to increase organic search visibility and drive more targeted traffic.
  • Technical SEO : Ensure the website is search-engine friendly. This includes working with our development team to advise on site structures, optimizing crawl settings, improving page speed, and implementing server-level optimizations.
  • Content Strategy : Collaborate with content teams to devise a content strategy that aligns with SEO goals, including keyword research, content gap analysis, and optimization.
  • Link Building : Develop and implement a robust link building strategy that adheres to Google's guidelines and avoids penalties.
  • SEO Analysis : Conduct regular SEO audits, analyze results, and recommend corrective actions. Monitor key SEO KPIs such as crawl errors, click-through rates, rankings, and conversion rates.
  • Competitive Analysis : Monitor the SEO strategies of competitors, identify gaps, and adjust our strategy accordingly.
  • Keyword Research : Use various tools to perform comprehensive keyword research, analyzing search volume, and competition.
  • Reporting : Prepare and present regular SEO performance reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Stay Updated : Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to adjust our strategy and tactics accordingly.
  • Training : Educate internal teams about SEO and the importance of SEO practices in their roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SEO with a proven track record of successful SEO strategy execution.
  • Demonstrated experience managing SEO for a high-traffic domain with at least 1 million+ monthly organic visits.
  • Expertise in various SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, SimilarWeb, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data to actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they impact search.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
