Role : SEO Manager
Key Responsibilities :
Strategy Development : Craft, execute, and oversee the overall SEO strategy to increase organic search visibility and drive more targeted traffic.
Technical SEO : Ensure the website is search-engine friendly. This includes working with our development team to advise on site structures, optimizing crawl settings, improving page speed, and implementing server-level optimizations.
Content Strategy : Collaborate with content teams to devise a content strategy that aligns with SEO goals, including keyword research, content gap analysis, and optimization.
Link Building : Develop and implement a robust link building strategy that adheres to Google's guidelines and avoids penalties.
SEO Analysis : Conduct regular SEO audits, analyze results, and recommend corrective actions. Monitor key SEO KPIs such as crawl errors, click-through rates, rankings, and conversion rates.
Competitive Analysis : Monitor the SEO strategies of competitors, identify gaps, and adjust our strategy accordingly.
Keyword Research : Use various tools to perform comprehensive keyword research, analyzing search volume, and competition.
Reporting : Prepare and present regular SEO performance reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations.
Stay Updated : Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to adjust our strategy and tactics accordingly.
Training : Educate internal teams about SEO and the importance of SEO practices in their roles.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, IT, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SEO with a proven track record of successful SEO strategy execution.
Demonstrated experience managing SEO for a high-traffic domain with at least 1 million+ monthly organic visits.
Expertise in various SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, SimilarWeb, Screaming Frog, etc.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data to actionable insights.
Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they impact search.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
