About the Role :

As a US Tax Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our tax outsourcing services, specifically targeting CPA firms across the United States. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role. You will be responsible for building and leading a team of tax professionals who are well-versed in U.S. business and individual tax regulations, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery to our clients. Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to :

Responsibilities :

  • Share technical knowledge with peers and support team leaders in managing deliverables
  • Manage client needs including resource planning, workflow, budgets, billing, and collections
  • Coordinate scheduling and staff assignments based on skill sets and availability
  • Lead process improvements and support deployment of operational changes
  • Supervise teams, foster trust, encourage innovation, and provide timely feedback
  • Review extension tax liability projections and assist with electronic filing packages
  • Conduct financial research relevant to RRE and OP engagements
  • Ensure quality control of final deliverables before client submission
  • Use tax software (CCH, UltraTax, SurePrep) for Form 1065 preparation and review
  • Provide training on pass-through entities and coach junior professionals
  • Execute assignments effectively with appropriate delegation and follow-up
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold firm standards in all client interactions
  • Apply IRS regulations in tax engagements
  • Track and manage multiple 1065 engagements, ensuring timely completion and accuracy
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams and clients, adapting messaging as needed
  • Analize complex tax issues and contribute to resolution strategies

Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of experience in US Federal Tax – Partnership (Form 1065), specifically in Real Estate and Operating Partnerships
  • Enrolled Agent (EA) or other relevant certification is an added advantage (or currently pursuing)
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related business field
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing projects and clients, including scheduling, budgeting, and correspondence
  • Proficiency in tax software such as CCH and UltraTax is a plus
  • Strong research and technology skills to support tax compliance and planning
  • Additional Skills and Competencies

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tax engagements simultaneously, track progress, and drive timely completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences—internal teams and clients.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex issues and implement effective resolutions.
