Software Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–6 years of hands-on experience developing and customizing Shopify stores.

Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid , HTML5 , CSS3 , JavaScript , and jQuery .

Experience with Shopify Plus (preferred) and Shopify theme development .

Familiarity with Shopify CLI , Git , and version control workflows.

Working knowledge of JSON , AJAX , and API integrations .

Understanding of e-commerce best practices , UX / UI principles, and conversion optimization .

Experience integrating payment gateways, shipping APIs, and marketing tools.

Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with React.js , Vue.js , or Next.js for headless Shopify builds.

Familiarity with Shopify Hydrogen and Oxygen environments.

Experience developing custom Shopify apps using Node.js or Ruby on Rails .

Knowledge of Google Analytics , Tag Manager , and SEO optimization .

Understanding of Shopify Flow and Automation tool
