Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Mobile Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team at LTI . The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for iOS and Android mobile applications . The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality mobile releases, and implementing best-in-class automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute mobile automation test scripts using tools like Appium , Selenium , or Espresso / XCUITest .
Develop end-to-end automation strategies for Android and iOS apps.
Create and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., Appium + TestNG, Appium + BDD Cucumber).
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing for mobile applications.
Integrate automation suites with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Identify defects, track them using JIRA / Azure DevOps , and verify fixes.
Generate test execution reports and maintain proper test documentation.
Ensure automation script scalability and performance optimization.
Required Skills
Technical Skills :
Strong hands-on experience with Appium (Java / JavaScript / Python) .
Experience with Selenium WebDriver (optional but preferred).
Proficiency in Android Studio, Xcode , device debugging, and mobile OS tools.
Experience in BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave, JBehave).
Familiarity with API testing using Postman / REST Assured.
Working knowledge of Git / GitHub / Bitbucket .
Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI.
Testing Skills :
Strong understanding of STLC , SDLC , and Agile methodology .
Good knowledge of mobile UI / UX , gestures, device compatibility, network profiles, and performance considerations.
Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, ALM).
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Cloud-based mobile testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Kobiton, AWS Device Farm).
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner (nice to have).
Familiarity with mobile security testing basics .
Experience with Python / Java for deep framework customization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or a related field.
Certifications such as ISTQB , Automation Testing , or Mobile Testing are an advantage.
