SHIFT DETAILS : 2pm IST – 11pm IST OR 5am IST to 2pm IST, OR Weekend 12 hour shifts – 40 Hours workweek – they are flexible on schedule and will accommodate which what works best for candidate

Pay : 10-15Lakh based on experience

Job Description :

Insight Global is seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join one of our logistics clients in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and troubleshooting SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability, and supporting critical business operations. This role requires hands-on expertise in monitoring, replication, and resolving Level 1 and Level 2 (P1 / P2) issues promptly. This role is based out of Hyderabad, India.

Must Have :

• 30 day or less notice period
• 7+ years in MS SQL Server Administration experience required
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools is mandatory
• Ability to diagnose problems and triage / resolve issues across various tiers (application, network, database, server or storage tiers)
• Ability to implement automation to reduce manual administrative tasks through use of jobs.
• Deep knowledge with SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014, and 2016 databases
• Experience with backups , restore and recovery models
• Experience in setting up , tuning and monitoring Mirroring , Replication , Log Shipping and SQL Server Service Broker is necessary
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
• Knowledge to writing TSQL
