Product Manager- Hand Tools

Role :  Product Manager- Hand Tools

Sub Function : Business Development

Reporting to :  Head-(HT PTA PTM)

Education Qualification :   B.Tech (Mechanical) and or Specialization in Hand Tool

Technical & Professional Knowledge required :  'Exposure in Cutting Tools, Abrasives, Hand Tools, Construction tools.

Experience required :  10-15 Years

Location : Thane, Mumbai

Purpose :

To expand the Hand Tools product range, expand business into industrial and Automotive segment and grow HT business in Hardware distribution channel

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Collaborate and work closely with Sales and Marketing Team , Engineering teams to design and develop New Products. Launch of new products with support from Marketing team.
• PM’s to regularly gather market intelligence on competition on the product range, Pricing, Product performance and Branding etc.
• Work with Marketing & Sales teams for Packaging (including new packaging development), Pricing and Promotion Schemes to grow the Business.
• PM’s will work with E-Commerce Team for Sales Growth of respective product lines in E-Commerce channel both in India and Abroad.
• PMs to support Sales & Marketing on Participation of Exhibitions / Trade shows / Seminar etc.
• Work with Engineering Team on Capex to propose and launch new product lines. Finalization of plant & Machinery (Greenfiled or Outsourced)
• Work with Sourcing to identify new vendors and reduce input Cost including Packaging cost reduction.
• Participate with Sourcing & Engineering on Cost Optimization negotiation meeting with Vendors and Ancillaries.
• Product Managers and Strategic Alliance Teams will work together to Develop Large Account Customers and Coordinate activities such as Plant visits of Customer, Pricing and Presentations to secure the business.
