Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a pivotal member of our finance team, overseeing the financial operations for a group of companies. Key responsibilities include :
Cash Flow Management :
Developing and maintaining accurate
cash flow forecasts
and projections.
Monitoring daily cash balances and optimizing working capital utilization.
Implementing strategies to
improve liquidity
and manage cash efficiently across the group.
Accounts Management :
Overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
Leading and mentoring a team of
3-4 accountants
, managing their workflow, and fostering their professional development.
Reviewing and approving journal entries, reconciliations, and overall ledger maintenance.
Statutory Compliance :
Ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all applicable
direct, indirect tax and labour regulations
(e.g., Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESI etc.).
Handling statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
Managing all necessary regulatory filings and documentation.
Financial Reporting & Analysis :
Preparing comprehensive
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
for the group of companies.
Analyzing financial data to provide insights into business performance, trends, and variances.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Process Improvement :
Identifying and implementing
improvements in accounting processes and internal controls
to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background :
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Experience : Candidates with
2-3 years of post-qualification experience
in a manufacturing or sales environment are highly preferred.
Skills & Attributes :

Strong working knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., Indian GAAP) and
cash management techniques
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP Business One, Tally, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
