Job description

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to design, implement, and optimize financial planning and analysis (FP&A) solutions using Workday Adaptive Planning.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead or support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Workday Adaptive Planning solutions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT teams to analyze business requirements and develop financial models, reports, and dashboards.
  • Design and build planning templates, assumptions models, and forecasting tools for budgets, workforce planning, and revenue / expense projections.
  • Provide data integration support between Workday Adaptive and other systems (e.g., Workday HCM, ERP, HRIS, CRM).
  • Conduct user training sessions and create system documentation for end users.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and ensure data integrity across financial models.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to automate or enhance FP&A processes.
  • Stay current on Workday Adaptive Planning releases and features to recommend process and system enhancements.

Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2–5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (implementation or administration).
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Experience with modeling, formulas, and reporting in Adaptive Planning.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and report building.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Workday Adaptive Planning certification or equivalent implementation experience.
  • Experience integrating Adaptive with Workday HCM / Finance or other ERP systems.
  • Consulting or client-facing experience in system implementations.
