POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (100%)

IT Technical Scrum / Project Manager (95%)

  • Demonstrates expertise in at least two project management methodologies , capable of explaining them, teaching others how to use them, and helping other Project Managers implement them.
  • Adjusts methodologies and software development processes (e.g., CI / CD , API , Deployment , Release , Versioning , Libraries , Code Review , Unit Testing , Test Coverage , and Automated Tests ) based on the project needs.
  • Understands the responsibilities and skills of the development team members (e.g., Frontend Developers , Backend Developers , QA , DevOps , Designers ) and evaluates if the team is equipped to deliver the project.
  • Collaborates with the development team to estimate complex projects .
  • Delivers specifications and business requirements for various project complexities.
  • Has a basic understanding of QA processes, including automated tests , testing frameworks , and types of tests.
  • Independently prepares reports and adapts them to the needs of the project.
  • Completes all paperwork related to compliance processes for each product release in a timely manner.

Communications Liaison (5%)

  • Acts as the primary point of contact to ensure the team is delivering on time.
  • Escalates any impediments or blockers impacting the team, well in advance of deliverables.
  • Formats and shares status reports in the requested format for the hiring manager.

    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or animal health science-related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as CBAP / CCBA , PSPO , PMP are a plus.
  • First-Level Scrum Certification (e.g., CSM and / or PMI-ACP ).
  • Proficiency in at least 2 project management tools at an advanced level (e.g., Jira , Shortcut , Basecamp , Asana ) and ability to teach others how to use them effectively.

    • TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient in PowerPoint , Excel , Microsoft Project , Jira , and Confluence .

    • PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel : 0–5%
