Senior Manager - RPC Production Planner

Responsibilities

Production Scheduling

Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize production efficiency. Adjust schedules as necessary based on changes in demand or supply chain disruptions.

Drive the weekly E2 execution meeting as well as participate in the daily E1 meetings to understand the ground level requirements.

Problem-Solving :

Address and resolve production issues promptly. Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure minimal impact on production schedules.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

Work closely with procurement, production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources, and to address any issues that may impact production schedules.

Utilize planning tools and software, such as SAP, O9, excel dashboard & others to monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and adjust production plans accordingly.

Drive touchless planning in 09 took – identify Root causes & solves to improve 09 adherence.

Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Ensure that materials are ordered and received in a timely manner to support production needs.

Drive SLOB liquidation & reduce fresh generation

Analyse production data and performance metrics. Prepare and present reports on production performance, inventory levels, and other key indicators to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.

Identify opportunities for process improvements within production planning and execution. Implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall production effectiveness.

Responsible for robust supply planning to ensure zero stock outs for the Region while also ensuring optimum inventory planning.

Manage the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, which provides a vehicle for evaluating, and determining future business decisions by reconciling demand to supply.

Operate closely with the sales team to improve forecast accuracy.

Work closely with Supply Planners to identify and resolve exceptional changes in the forecast and anticipate their needs to communicate changes in the forecast across the Supply Chain.
