Job Summary :
We are seeking a seasoned and proactive
Industrial Relations (IR) Manager
with extensive experience in managing employee relations, union negotiations, labor law compliance, and stakeholder management within the
Renewable Energy sector . The ideal candidate will be
presentable , have
excellent communication skills , and possess a deep understanding of IR strategies, dispute resolution, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain effective industrial relations strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Build and sustain healthy relationships with employees, union representatives, and labor authorities.
Handle disciplinary procedures, grievance redressal, and dispute resolution effectively.
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, factory rules, and statutory regulations.
Represent the company in labor court cases, conciliations, and negotiations.
Drive employee engagement at sites and ensure consistent application of HR policies.
Liaise with government bodies, legal advisors, and other relevant stakeholders.
Maintain documentation related to IR activities, settlements, and compliance records.
Manage IR risks and proactively address potential labor issues across project sites.
Requirements : Experience :
15 to 20 years in
Industrial Relations , preferably in manufacturing, infrastructure, or
Renewable Energy (Wind / Solar)
sectors.
Communication :
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and written communication skills.
Presentation :
Well-presented, confident, and capable of representing the company externally.
Knowledge :
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, IR best practices, and statutory obligations.
Education :
Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, Law, Industrial Relations, or related disciplines.
