Position Summary :

We are looking for an accomplished QA Manager to lead our automation and quality engineering initiatives across a modern technology stack. This role requires deep technical knowledge in test automation, performance engineering, and DevOps practices, coupled with strategic leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Experience in the Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domain is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate brings a balanced mix of hands-on testing expertise, architectural vision, and team leadership. You will be responsible for defining and scaling test strategies, building robust automation frameworks, managing performance testing, and aligning QA processes with DevOps workflows in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Automation & Testing Strategy :

  • Architect and evolve enterprise-scale test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, TestNG, or Cucumber.
  • Implement test automation across UI, API, backend, and data layers.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI / CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or Jenkins).
  • Promote test reusability, modularity, and maintainability across test assets.
  • Establish test data management strategies for robust and scalable test execution.

2. Performance & Reliability Engineering :

  • Drive system performance testing using Apache JMeter or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to identify performance bottlenecks in application and infrastructure layers.
  • Conduct load, stress, and endurance testing to validate scalability and reliability.
  • Analyze performance test results to fine-tune SQL / database queries, APIs, and application flows.
  • 3. DevOps & Cloud Integration :

  • Manage containerized test environments using Docker for consistent and reproducible testing.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to provision and manage test infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
  • Implement automated test execution within build pipelines and release orchestration processes.
  • Ensure test coverage in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) environments and cloud-native apps.
  • 4. Quality Governance & Compliance :

  • Define and enforce QA best practices, coding standards, traceability, and defect lifecycle processes.
  • Develop quality dashboards and KPIs for test effectiveness, coverage, and release readiness.
  • Ensure product quality aligns with regulatory and industry standards relevant to healthcare (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).
  • Lead root cause analysis for critical production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • 5. Leadership & Team Development :

  • Lead and mentor a distributed team of QA engineers, automation experts, and performance testers.
  • Conduct regular code reviews, test reviews, and training sessions.
  • Act as the quality representative in Agile ceremonies and technical design discussions.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and proactive risk management.
  • 6. Healthcare RCM Domain (Preferred but Not Mandatory) :

  • Validate business logic and data flows in Healthcare RCM applications involving claims, billing, coding, and payer / provider systems.
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy of workflows tied to EHRs, HL7, and other healthcare data standards.
  • Collaborate with product teams to align testing with healthcare compliance and billing logic.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, including :
  • 3+ years in a QA leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong experience in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver automation.
  • Expertise in :

  • Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure),
  • Containerization tools (Docker),
  • CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps),
  • API testing (Postman, RestAssured),
  • Version control (Git),
  • Test management platforms (TestRail, Zephyr, or similar).
  • Proven track record in performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Domain experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
  • Familiarity with security testing tools and principles (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
  • Exposure to monitoring and observability platforms (Dynatrace, Site24x7, New Relic).
  • Certifications : ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in SaaS, microservices-based architecture, or enterprise software environments.
  • Understanding of AI / ML-based testing tools, shift-left practices, and test impact analysis.
