Overview
- The Senior Manager - Group Tax Reporting is a high-impact, specialist role based in Airoli, Navi Mumbai (working 9 am to 6 pm or 10 am to 7 pm shift timings), focused on leading and optimizing the company's global tax reporting function.
- The incumbent will act as the subject matter expert driving compliance with IFRS (IAS 12), managing tax risk provisions, and playing a critical role in global tax transformation and Pillar 2 readiness.
- This position requires close partnership with the Head of Tax - Europe, LATAM & AMEA and collaboration with all group tax teams to ensure robust, effective, and accurate worldwide tax disclosures.
Key Responsibilities and Tax Reporting Deliverables :
IFRS Tax Reporting Leadership : Lead and manage the comprehensive quarterly and annual IFRS (IAS 12) tax reporting process, specifically focusing on the accurate calculation, analysis, and detailed presentation of the Effective Tax Rate (ETR) and Deferred Tax Assets / Liabilities.Tax Provision and Risk Management : Oversee and manage tax risk provisions, ensuring adequate and justifiable reserves are maintained. Assist in crucial data gathering and impact assessment for impending Pillar 2 (Global Minimum Tax) compliance.Financial Disclosures and Forecasting : Prepare and finalize all necessary annual financial disclosures related to tax in the consolidated financial statements. Lead the process for reliable tax forecasting across various global jurisdictions.Process Optimization and Transformation : Play a key role in transformation projects designed to enhance global tax reporting efficiency, leveraging and improving key finance and tax systems.Consolidation Review : Perform a critical review of consolidation adjustments provided by the finance function to verify tax accuracy and ensure appropriate application of IAS 12 principles.Tax Control Development : Develop and strictly enforce global tax reporting policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to the company's established internal controls (e.g., SOX) over financial reporting.M andatory Disclosure Regime (MDR) Management : Take responsibility for managing the EU Mandatory Disclosure Regime (MDR) reporting process using the company's designated cloud solution, ensuring timely and compliant reporting of cross-border arrangements.Continuous Improvement : Continuously drive process improvement and efficiency across the tax controlling and reporting functions globally.Desired Profile and Technical Expertise :
