Role Overview :
Happiest Minds is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President with a strong background in education technology and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will bring 20 to 25 years of experience in leading operations, driving P&L growth, and successfully implementing go-to-market strategies. This leadership role will require a strategic thinker with a proven track record of customer success, product engineering, service delivery, and operations management in the EdTech domain.
EdTech (Educational Technology), refers to the use of technology to facilitate, enhance, and transform learning, teaching, and education management. It encompasses a wide range of tools, platforms, and approaches that leverage digital resources to improve educational outcomes.
This can include online learning platforms, digital textbooks, educational software, mobile apps, virtual classrooms, AI-driven personalized learning tools, and even the use of virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) in education. Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with Happiest Minds' mission and business goals in the education technology sector.
- Lead the P&L management efforts, ensuring financial targets are met and sustainable growth is achieved.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Create and implement effective go-to-market (GTM) strategies that resonate with our target audience and foster customer engagement.
- Oversee customer success initiatives to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty among clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product engineering to innovate and refine our EdTech offerings.
- Foster an operational excellence culture throughout the organization, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team, encouraging professional development and growth.
- Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation in the Edtech space.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 20 years of experience in leadership roles within the education technology sector, encompassing P&L management and operations leadership.Maximum of 25 years of relevant experience.Proven expertise in digital transformation and developing successful go-to-market strategies.Strong track record in customer success, demonstrating an ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Experience in managing product engineering and service delivery functions within the EdTech environment.Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.A passion for education technology and a commitment to driving positive change in the industry.Essential Experience :
Deep understanding of the EdTech IndustryTrack record of consistently achieving revenue and profitability targets.Ability to define and position services offerings and identify solutions that accentuate these offerings.Ability to bring cross-functional teams (within and outside the business unit) together.Creating account development strategies that have helped grow $10M+ accounts.Experience with entire sales cycle including building and executing GTM strategies.Bringing together different functions onto the same page to work as a cohesive team.Building high performing teams.Building relationships and winning the confidence of customer executive leadership.Good understanding of Product and Services DeliveryEngaging with analysts and contributing actively to thought leadership activities.(ref : iimjobs.com)
