Job Summary
A Bench Sales Recruiter markets and places idle consultants (on "bench") from IT staffing firms to vendors and clients by sourcing requirements, submitting profiles, negotiating rates, and managing placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Search job portals (e.g., Dice, Monster, ), vendor networks, and contacts for suitable requirements matching bench consultants' skills.
- Qualify consultants based on comfort with roles, update and format resumes, and submit profiles to vendors while avoiding duplicates.
- Schedule interviews, prepare consultants, follow up on feedback, negotiate rates with vendors / clients, and track submissions through placement.
- Maintain databases for consultant status (start / end dates, roll-offs), broadcast profiles periodically, and build relationships with tier-1 vendors.
- Monitor consultant performance post-placement, handle roll-offs proactively, and ensure timely project transitions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.2+ years in IT staffing, recruitment, or bench sales, with experience handling H1B, OPT, GC, or USC consultants.Strong knowledge of US IT job market, visa processes, and tools like ATS, MS Excel, and Recruiter.Essential Skills
