Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and design-oriented Pre-Sales Executive with a background in interior design to serve as the first point of contact for walk-in clients at our Bengaluru showroom. This role combines aesthetic sensibility with consultative selling, aiming to help clients translate their design vision into curated furniture solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Consultation
  • Greet walk-in customers and provide a warm, informed, and design-focused showroom experience.
  • Understand client requirements (residential or commercial) and recommend relevant furniture and decor options.
  • Educate clients about customization possibilities—finishes, dimensions, materials, and upholstery.
  • Design-Sales Alignment
  • Create basic layout suggestions, mood boards, or reference visuals using in-house design resources.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure feasibility of custom requirements.
  • Assist in generating quotes, visualizations, and technical inputs for the sales team.
  • Follow-ups & Conversion
  • Maintain timely follow-ups with leads via phone / email.
  • Convert inquiries into qualified leads for the sales team or project onboarding.
  • Track client visits and feedback in CRM or sales records.
  • Showroom Coordination
  • Ensure the showroom is maintained as a premium design environment.
  • Stay updated with new arrivals, bestsellers, and inventory updates.

Key Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Interior Design , Furniture Design , or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design or consultative retail (furniture / home decor).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong aesthetic sense with working knowledge of design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, or equivalent is a plus).
  • Ability to understand and explain technical product details and material specifications.
  • Preferred Qualities

  • Experience dealing with high-end or luxury clientele .
  • Exposure to project-based furniture consultation .
  • Proactive, polished, and passionate about design and client satisfaction.
