Role Purpose

This role is responsible for managing Mobile App Mode 2 projects for SBI Cards retail & corporate customers, and releases for customers including various form factors, devices and OS, bringing Innovative and new cutting-edge Technologies of Mobile App to solve business problems and adding value in defining a strategy androadmap to upgrade Mobile App technology stack time to time as per industry trends.

Role Accountability

  • Participate in defining strategy and roadmap development of Mobile App projects / programs
  • Plan and Execute Mode 2 initiatives as per defined roadmaps
  • Identify, assess and manage risks of the project / program and do timely escalations for the mitigation and closure
  • Act as a strong interface and work closely with the vendors, external consultants, application / product support teams, technical support team
  • Manage budgeting, estimation and negotiation of cost and efforts
  • Drive IT-function monthly meeting with business leader and all relevant stakeholders to prioritize projects and provide status of ongoing projects for business function
  • Ensure reliability of the initiative / feature made live by ensuring a strong post production sanity, regression, monitoring and control plans
  • Scan the marketfor latest state of the art Technology and digital solutions for articulated business requirements and analyze feasibility of adoption in SBI Card
  • Ensure digital transformation of the product and that own projects / programs are formally closed and lessons learned are recorded
  • Determine organization needs from an IT system implementation standpoint, identify system specifications and coordinate with other internal IT teams to ensure successful implementation
  • Work with stakeholders to identify potential benefits and available options for consideration and in defining acceptance tests
  • Manage strong teams through collaboration with shared responsibility and encourages innovation at all levels
  • Ensure process documentation and compliance adherence

    • Measures of Success

  • On time, In budget and with zero post production P1 defect program delivery
  • System integration error percentage within defined threshold (Minimal business impact due to changes)
  • System / application / platform availability % as per agreed SLA
  • Process Adherence as per MOU

    • Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

  • Understanding of common Agile practices and service-oriented environments and overall SDLC
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android build and submission experience within iTunes and Google Play stores
  • Proficiency in mobile applications, web applications and development, systems integration, and product release and support requirements
  • Understanding in solution design and architecture
  • Knowledge of Mobile App software development and latest trends of digital transformation using Mob App
