Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accounts Executive with a solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in using accounting software like Tally. The ideal candidate should be familiar with GST, TDS, and general bookkeeping practices. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day transactions, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Tally Entries :
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries in Tally.
• Maintain and update ledgers, trial balance, and balance sheets in Tally.
• GST (Goods and Services Tax) :
• Assist in preparing and filing GST returns (GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, etc.).
• Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of GST.
• Reconcile GST input credits with vendor invoices and company accounts.
• TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) :
• Deduct and deposit TDS on applicable transactions (salaries, contractor payments, rent, etc.).
• Assist in preparing and filing TDS returns and generating TDS certificates.
• Maintain TDS reports and ensure timely compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Accounting Entries :
• Handle accounts payable / receivable entries, bank reconciliations, and expense records.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and supporting documents.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Compliance and Reporting :
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax-related documents (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Support the senior accountant in audits and financial report preparation.
• Assist in maintaining documentation for tax audits and assessments.
