The Team (FST)

Financial Services & Treasury is part of the wider PwC Advisory services in India and comprises subject matter experts with deep industry experience and from varied backgrounds including banking, insurance, risk management, treasury, rating analyst, information technology, and actuarial consulting.

The actuarial services capability of FST works on product development, pricing of insurance products, statutory / shareholder valuation, accounting as per IGAAP / IFRS 17, risk management and asset liability management. In addition, the capability helps and supports clients in performing required regulatory reviews, due diligence for potential buyers / sellers, managing their insurance liability requirements, transitioning to new regulatory and market requirements and offering new products to their customers.

The Role

The role is for a non-life actuarial professional with 2-5 years of experience.

You will be providing high-quality consulting and technical services to our clients both in India and overseas. Focusing on non-life insurance, you will work on actuarial consulting projects across multiple streams such as IFRS 17 implementation & assurance, audit reviews, M&A due diligence, staff augmentation etc.

The Requirements

I. Qualification

• 4-7 years of actuarial experience in Insurance or Consulting Firms in Non-Life domain
• At least 6 actuarial papers passed from IAI / IFoA as per the new curriculum
• Prior experience with IFRS 17 / Ind AS 117 preferred
• Prior experience of working in the India domestic market through insurance or consulting preferred
