Responsibilities :
Installation & Configuration :
- Deploy and configure Akamai products (e.g., CDN, WAF, DNS, etc.) according to customer requirements and best practices.
- Integrate Akamai services with customer infrastructure, including web servers, load balancers, and DNS systems.
- Perform testing and validation to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Document installation procedures and configurations.
Support & Troubleshooting :
Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and ticketing systems.Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Akamai services.Proactively monitor Akamai performance and identify potential problems.Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or product teams as needed.Maintain accurate records of support interactions and troubleshooting steps.Customer Communication :
Communicate effectively with customers, providing timely updates and clear explanations of technical issues.Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.Provide training and guidance to customers on Akamai products and services.Collaboration & Improvement :
Collaborate with other engineers and teams to share knowledge and improve processes.Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and documentation.Stay up to date on the latest Akamai products and features.Qualifications :
Experience : (7+ years) in technical support, system administration, or network engineering. Experience with Akamai products is a significant advantage.Technical Skills :Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.).Experience with web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS) and load balancers.Familiarity with Linux / Unix operating systems.Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.Soft Skills :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Customer-focused and results-oriented.
