As a Systems Administrator, you will take charge of our IT hardware ecosystem, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and efficiency to support cutting-edge aerospace engineering.
What You Will Be Doing :
Setting up, configuring, and maintaining IT hardware – servers, workstations, networking devices, and more.Managing system backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery plans.Monitoring system performance and resolving issues before they become problems.Implementing cybersecurity best practices to protect our data and IT infrastructure.Managing user access controls, permissions, and account provisioning.Keeping an inventory of IT assets and planning hardware upgrades.Providing technical support and training to team members.Working with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth IT operations.Documenting IT policies, procedures, and best practices.What You Need To Have :
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).Some experience in system administration or IT support.Strong expertise in Windows, Linux, and / or macOS environments.Hands-on experience with networking hardware and protocols (firewalls, switches, VPNs and Wi-Fi).A solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices.Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.A knack for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues quickly.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.The ability to work independently in a high-paced startup environmentAbility to work extended hours as neededWhat You Get :
