HR Generalist / HR Operations Executive (Multi-site | Non-IT)

Company : Thenpandiyan Group

Location : Namakkal (HQ) with field / site visits across TN (20–40%)

Work Mode : On-site | Full-time

Experience : 3–7 years

CTC : ₹5 – 7 LPA plus benefits

About the role

Own day-to-day HR operations across multiple group companies—onboarding → HRIS (GreytHR / Zoho) → attendance & OT controls → payroll inputs → letters → compliance files—and turn consultant SOPs into working checklists and workflows. Your goal : make GreytHR the single source of truth, reduce attendance malpractice, and deliver error-free payroll inputs on time.

What you’ll do

  • Onboarding & Records : Run Day-0 / Day-1 onboarding;
  • verify KYC / education / experience;
  • generate & track letters (offer, appointment, confirmation, transfer, increment, warning, relieving);

maintain digital personnel files with strict naming standards.

  • HRIS (GreytHR & Zoho) : Create / maintain employee master;
  • configure approvals (leave / OT / loans);
  • weekly data hygiene audits;
  • support migration from Excel.

  • Attendance, Shift & OT Controls : Reconcile Zoho ↔ GreytHR;
  • operate maker–checker for exceptions (manual punches, geo-fence / device mismatches);
  • run site audits and escalate repeat non-compliance.

  • Payroll Inputs & Statutory Coordination : Freeze inputs by T-3 (attendance / OT / allowances / LOP);
  • coordinate PF / ESI / PT / Bonus / Gratuity data;
  • maintain audit-ready registers & challans;
  • support FnF.

  • SOP Implementation : Convert SOPs into checklists / forms / workflows;
  • train site managers & interns;
  • track adherence.

  • HR Service Desk & MIS : Deliver letters / ID / tickets within SLA;
  • publish weekly dashboards (headcount, joins / exits, onboarding compliance, attendance exceptions, payroll input status).

    What you’ll bring

  • 2–5 years in HR Operations / Generalist roles, preferably multi-site and operations-heavy (logistics / retail / plant).
  • Hands-on with GreytHR (or similar HRIS) and Zoho;
  • strong Excel / Google Sheets.

  • Working knowledge of EPF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments / Factories, POSH.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, comfortable with field follow-ups;
  • Tamil & English preferred.

    Success metrics (your KPIs)

  • Onboarding : 100% Day-1 document completeness;
  • letters SLA ≤ 48 hours.

  • Payroll inputs : T-3 freeze on time;
  • 0 re-runs due to HR input errors.

  • Attendance control : Reduce flagged exceptions ≥50% in 90 days;
  • manual punch rate <

    3% / site / month.

  • Data quality : 100% master parity GreytHR ↔ Zoho;
  • zero duplicate UANs.

  • SOP adoption : Top-10 SOPs checklist-enabled with >
  • 95% adherence.

    Growth & exposure

  • Work directly with Head HR and business leaders across Logistics, Auto LPG retail and B2B cylinder marketing;
  • help implement systems and controls that scale.
