Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Architect, install, configure, and manage enterprise middleware platforms including Oracle WebLogic (11g / 12c), SOA Suite, OBIEE, Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, and JBoss EAP.
  • Design and implement high availability (HA) and clustered environments for mission-critical applications.
  • Optimize JVM memory settings, JDBC connection pools, and thread configurations to ensure application performance and stability.
  • Integrate and configure middleware services with enterprise systems such as Active Directory (LDAP), and SSL-enabled environments.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and request flow designs for middleware applications ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Develop scripts and automation using WLST (Jython), Python, and Shell scripting for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Lead disaster recovery (DR) initiatives by building DR environments, ensuring parity with production, performing DR drills, and managing failover / failback activities.
  • Apply and manage security patches across Fusion Middleware products, JBoss, WebLogic, and JDK environments.
  • Participate in migration projects, upgrades, and performance tuning initiatives.
  • Work closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and application support for issue resolution and system enhancements.
  • Document system architecture, configuration changes, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in Middleware Administration and Architecture.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of SOA Suite, OBIEE, WebLogic (11g / 12c), JBoss EAP, Tomcat, Apache.
  • Strong understanding of clustering, load balancing, and high availability configurations.
  • Experience with performance tuning, JVM optimization, JDBC, JMS, and security configurations.
  • Scripting proficiency with WLST, Python, and Shell.
  • Experience in building and managing disaster recovery setups.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with relevant certification (OCI Architect Associate preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts and best practices.
