Role Description

We are looking for a creative powerhouse and a strategic thinker to lead our design initiatives for the UK and European markets. As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing commercially viable, trend-driven collections for both Womenswear and Girl swear. You will be the 'translator' who turns global runway trends into production-ready samples that wow international buyers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collection Development: Lead the end-to-end design process for Womenswear and Girl swear, ensuring a cohesive 'story' across various product categories (woven, knits, etc.).
• Trend Forecasting: Utilize platforms like WGSN, analyse high-street retail reports, and conduct 'inspiration trips' (virtual or physical) to stay ahead of UK/EU seasonal shifts.
• Tech Pack Mastery: Create detailed, factory-ready tech packs (including BOMs, measurements, and construction details) to minimize sampling iterations.
• Sourcing & Innovation: Collaborate with the fabric and trims team to source sustainable and cost-effective materials that align with sustainable quality standards (REACH, GOTS, etc.).
• Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with the Merchandising and Production teams to ensure the design vision is maintained from the first prototype to the final shipment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Fashion Design from a premier institute (NIFT, Pearl).
• Experience: 7–10 years in apparel design, with at least 4+ years specifically focused on UK/EU accounts (e.g., Inditex, H&M, M&S, Next, or Primark).
• Market Savvy: Deep understanding of UK/EU sizing, aesthetics, and seasonal calendars (Spring/Summer vs. Autumn/Winter).
• Software Skills: Pro-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop are non-negotiable).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English.
