Job description

Location : Hauz Khas, New Delhi

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong analytical capabilities and hands-on expertise in Power BI, Excel (including Macros), and Looker Studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights, optimizing reporting frameworks, and supporting business decisions through data-driven analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support business strategy and decision-making.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Create and manage Excel-based tools, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, and VBA Macros for automation.
  • Build and enhance Looker Studio reports and visualizations as required by stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations) to understand data needs and deliver insights.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify trends, patterns, issues, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across all reporting platforms.
  • Document processes, reporting logic, and analytical findings clearly and concisely.
  • Present actionable insights and recommendations to management through structured reports and presentations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VBA Macros, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization.
  • Hands-on experience with Looker Studio for dashboard creation and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ETL tools or data automation workflows.
  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, or BI tools beyond Power BI.
