Position Title -Azure IaaS / PaaS Engineer

Job Purpose
This role is responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining enterprise cloud infrastructures using Azure’s IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) solutions. As a core contributor to the organization’s digital transformation, the Azure IaaS / PaaS Engineer ensures scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures that align with business needs. The position plays a critical role in enabling cloud adoption, innovation, and operational excellence across IT and business domains
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
Architect, present, and deliver simple, effective Azure solutions to business stakeholders.
Implement and automate infrastructure tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bicep).
Monitor, optimize, and maintain Azure environments for performance, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to support automated build and deployment pipelines.
Ensure robust cloud security in accordance with best practices and compliance requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Azure services, networking, and integrations.
Provide operational support, documentation, and guidance for migration, scaling, and upgrades.
Establish backup / recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
Participate in cross-team projects and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
Key Competencies
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in I Administrations roles (Administration, Opearations, Engineering)
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions.
Strong Ability to design and present Azure architecture and solutions
Proven experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and PaaS Offerings
Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) mandatory. AZ-305 a plus.

Solid understanding of Azure security, networking, and access control
PowerShell Scripting for Azure Automation
Resource Deployment using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep / ARM / Terraform)
Entra ID Management
