Position : Business Development Executive – Solar (Rooftop & Ground-Mount)

Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka

Experience : 2–6 Years

Industry : Renewable Energy / Solar EPC

Employment Type : Full-time

Job Summary

Looking for a results-driven professional to lead business development efforts in rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. The role covers the full sales cycle—lead generation, client qualification, proposal presentation, and deal closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify potential clients (industrial, commercial, institutional)
  • Generate leads via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and partners
  • Present customized solar solutions (CAPEX / OPEX / EMI)
  • Conduct client meetings and close deals
  • Coordinate proposals and post-sale support
  • Maintain reports and support marketing activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in solar or B2B technical sales
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Willing to travel for client meetings
  • Familiarity with solar systems, ROI models, and policy benefits
