Role Overview

We’re looking for a dedicated and dynamic Social Science teacher to guide students of Grades 6 to 8 through History, Geography, Civics, and related interdisciplinary themes. The ideal candidate combines strong subject knowledge with interactive teaching methods, making learning meaningful, engaging, and relevant to real life.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Social Science curriculum for Grades 6–8 as per CBSE guidelines.
• Plan and deliver well-structured, creative, and student-focused lessons.
• Use a mix of interactive tools — discussions, case studies, role plays, maps, timelines, and graphic organizers — to enhance understanding.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, projects, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
• Track student progress through formative and summative assessments; maintain accurate records.
• Support students in developing analytical thinking, map skills, and conceptual clarity.
• Maintain discipline, encourage English communication, and build a positive classroom culture.
• Collaborate with coordinators for academic planning, question paper setting, and exam evaluations.
• Participate actively in school events, assemblies, competitions, and enrichment programs.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic performance and behavioural updates.
